
The Web-based management portal that is available in the Enterprise Edition of Professional Quest is enhanced when used for market research surveys (ie. when it is used with the optional market research module).
The portal includes all the same features as the standard administration portal, including live access to responses and statistics, response maintenance (add, edit, delete) and an executive summary. Common uses of these details are to determine:

When used with the Market Research module, the administration portal gains some additional functionality specific to market research surveys.
Response quotas are a key feature of many market research surveys. By restricting respondents of certain types to a pre-set quota, you can better balance the mix of respondents for your survey. It has also become common to use quotas as a way of limiting the total number of responses to a required number in situations where responses are being paid for. This can provide a level of certainty when determining the cost of respondents for the survey.
The Web management portal can be used to keep track of quotas, providing immediate feedback on how close each quota is to being full. It is not uncommon for the required quotas to change over the course of a survey. The Web management portal can provide direct access to the current quota limits. An authorised person can change them, and the effect of this change is applied immediately for survey respondents (for example, an increase in a quota may let new respondents into the survey from the moment the "Update Quotas" button is pressed).
Complete and partial responses can be tracked easily by using the portal's response count capabilities that were based on Professional Quest's advanced filtering system. In fact, any group of responses can be easily tracked.
