The pages of a survey can be thought of like pages in a book. A respondent will see each page in turn, and the content of a single page will be shown at any one time. There are a number of advantages to having pages in a survey:

The number of questions seen at any one time can be limited, thus focusing the respondent on each area of the survey one area at a time |

Through the use of flow control, irrelevant pages can be skipped, thus shortening the survey where appropriate |

The survey is more user-friendly - the need to scroll down the page is minimised, and features such as progress bars provide a clear indication of progress through the survey |
A survey is broken down clearly into pages right from the initial design of the survey. The Questionnaire Structure Window and Questionnaire Layout Window both provide easy access to the pages within the survey:
