All value items in range-of-values questions and question grids have a numeric value. Usually this value is automatically determined by the system, and values are consecutive (1,2,3,4 etc). There are times, however, when you may want to enter your own weighting for each of the values. One example is shown below, where the disagree values are given negative scores, and the agree values are given positive scores:
