"Range-of-values" questions are questions that have a predefined set of values. Professional Quest allows you to enter these values manually, or select from a pre-defined set of values. Examples of range-of-values questions include:
A rating scale from "Very Dissatisfied" to "Very Satisfied" |
A list of departments for an organisation |
A yes/no question (eg. do you smoke?) |
Values can be entered in the Property Sheet Window in the Professional Quest Designer, and the resultant question may appear on the survey form as shown below:

The maximum number of values that may be entered in a range-of-values question is dependent upon the version of the software being used. While the number of values entered is usually quite small, a higher maximum may be useful in situations where the number of values is quite large and can not be reduced (eg. Asking for a US state - 50 values will be needed). |
