Text-based surveys can be sent using any standard Email system. This is because the questionnaire itself is pure text, and therefore is the same as any other piece of text sent via Email. This method of distribution is quick and easy, and is well suited to short surveys that you do not want to put on a Web site.
The content of the text Email can be previewed and edited from within the Professional Quest Project Manager:
Responses received can be imported directly from the Email, thus ensuring that data entry is still efficiently managed.
Note that there is no HTML Email survey produced by Professional Quest, because a large number of Email systems no longer accept HTML surveys with scripting (due to the risk of viruses). This restriction makes HTML Email surveys a less than ideal survey distribution medium - it is better to have a link in an Email that takes the recipient to a Web-based survey form. |
