There are times when a question group will contain a series of numbers that are meant to add up to a predefined number (most commonly, the numbers are percentages that need to add up to 100%). It is possible to validate these numbers at the group level as shown below:
The Enterprise Edition even allows the group total validation to be based on the answer entered in a numeric question within the survey (eg. the group total must equal a number entered earlier in the survey). |
